Room by Room: The Transformation

The kitchen. The stovetop ring came off with degreaser and patience. We cleaned under every appliance, scrubbed the sink until it shined, wiped cabinet fronts, and got the sticky off the counters for real this time. The fridge handle and door got disinfected.

The bathrooms. That soap-scum line in the tub disappeared. We descaled the faucets, cleaned the mirrors streak-free, scrubbed both toilets inside and out, and wiped down the tile.

The bedrooms. Dust gone from the fan blades, the frames, the dressers. Floors vacuumed, including under the bed where the toddler’s missing socks were apparently relocating to.

The living room and stairs. Biscuit’s hair was the boss fight. We vacuumed the upholstery, the corners, the baseboards, and every step of those narrow stairs. Hard floors mopped last.

Three hours in, the house didn’t just look clean. It smelled clean — the kind you notice the second you open the front door.
